Job responsibilities:

• To carry out project defined carpentry work to a high standard as directed
• Inspecting wood and ensuring quality standards
• Working to detailed drawings
• Maintain and care for all company tools
• Assembling and installing furniture (Some offsite installation)

A Successful Furniture Assembler will have:

• Previous experience of Assembly/production of similar products
• Keen eye for detail and dexterous
• You will have experience of using hand tools
• Understand Health & Safety requirements in a workshop/ on-site
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to quality work.

• 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday start and finish time negotiable

As a Production Operative, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and seamless functioning of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in the assembly and manufacturing of furniture, ensuring precision and quality in the production process.
• Perform light machine work, including the use of specialised equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials required for furniture production. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare furniture orders for shipping, adhering to quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate stock records, keeping track of inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies.
• Keep the production area clean, Organised, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to promote a secure working environment.
• Manage waste disposal in compliance with environmental regulations.
